Prof. dr. C.J.J.M. (Carel) Stolker LL.M.

Dean Carel Stolker (1954) has been since 1996 a professor (private law) and director of the E.M. Meijers Institute of Legal Studies at the University of Leiden and since February 2001 a member of the board of the faculty of law, in charge of research, among other subjects. Currently he is dean of the faculty (since January 2005) and since January 2008 returned to the E.M. Meijers Institute as her director.
He is co-chairman of the Strategic Alliance of Research Faculties of Law and member of the Academic Committee of the Europaeum.
