Upcoming conference ‘Political Legitimacy and the Paradox of Regulation’
The role of regulation in achieving legitimate rule is a topical issue that invites further discussion. To this end, the Leiden research profile area on Political Legitimacy has organized an international conference titled ‘Political Legitimacy and the Paradox of Regulation’ which will address the question whether the increase of regulations has helped or hindered the legitimacy of political systems, including modern democracies.
The conference will start on Wednesday 23 (reception and opening ceremony), workshops will be hold on Thursday 24 and Friday 25 January 2013 in Leiden. Please take a look here for more information on the conference programme.
