Res Publica

Res Publica was founded in 1929 as the study association for Constitutional and Administrative Law students at Leiden University.

Many illustrious constitutional and administrative lawyers have been a member of Res Publica. Res Publica wants to help its members  in orientating themselves on their future career, but also provides members with an enjoyable time and the opportunity to get to know each other during the Masters. In order to achieve these goals, the Board of Res Publica organizes monthly drinks, lectures, visits to possible employers and an annual study trip.

The Board of Res Publica consists of the following members:

  • President: Simon Olierook

  • Treasurer: Maria Schoenmakers

  • Secretary:  Marlies Loenen

  • Assessor: Jean-Paul ter Schure
