Air Law Moot Court Competition in India

In the context of its 25th anniversary celebrations, the International Institute of Air and Space Law (IIASL) is organising the first Air Law Moot Court Competition, to be held in New Delhi, India from 2 - 6 March 2010.

The IIASL is working with the Sarin Memorial Legal Aid foundation to set up the event. The Sarin Foundation, which was established by the family of one of our Indian alumni, aims to provide free legal aid to the needy in India and to raise the level of legal education available to students in India.
The competition has attracted a great deal of attention from Asian universities and other parties. A team from Leiden, consisting of students in the current LL.M. programme in Air and Space Law, will also travel to India. An Indian graduate of this LL.M. programme who lives and works in the Netherlands is the team's coach.
