Dr. Jean d’Aspremont has been a lecturer in Public International Law at the University of Leiden since 2006 as well as a guest lecturer in International Humanitarian Law at the University of Louvain (UCL). He received his LL.M. from the University of Cambridge and his Ph.D. from the University of Louvain (UCL) where he was an assistant lecturer in International Law from 2001 to 2005. In 2005-06, he was a global research fellow of New York University (NYU), affiliated with the Institute of International Law and Justice (IILJ). He is also a senior editor of the Leiden Journal of International Law and the  academic coordinator of the Master’s Program in Public International Law at the University of Leiden.
