Anna Gouwenberg is research assistant at the Department of Public International Law of the University of Leiden. Her research focuses on human rights, in particular the implementation of the right to development. She studied law at the University of Leiden and completed her LLM Public International Law there in 2008. During her studies, she did an internship at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia where she worked for the defense team of Pandurević in the case of the Prosecutor v. Popović et. al., a case relating to the massacres that occurred in Srebrenica.
