- Daniëlla Dam-de Jong is currently preparing a PhD in the field of international environmental law and international humanitarian law. The topic of her PhD is the relationship between natural resources and armed conflict. Her fields of interest include sustainable development and peace and security. She studied law at the Free University Amsterdam (VU) and specialized in public international law and European law. In addition, she studied French language and culture at the University of Lausanne and the Free University Amsterdam. Daniëlla Dam worked as an intern at the Advisory Council on International Affairs; as a policy officer in the field of international law, safety and security at Campus Den Haag; and as a research assistant at the department of public international law.
